Site terms
Terms for using this website, stated plainly. Last updated 14 August 2026.
What this site is
getregula.com is the website of Regula, an open-source tool that scans code for patterns that may need AI governance review and records deployment facts that code cannot show. The site provides information, guides, a browser assessment, and links to the software. It is operated by the project's maintainer (see the About page).
Not legal advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice, a compliance determination, a certification, or a conformity assessment. Content and tool output indicate what may need review; whether a law applies to a real system, and what it requires, are questions for a qualified professional with knowledge of your facts. Where a page names a regulatory date or provision, we cite the source, and regulations can change after a page is published.
No paid services are offered on this site at present
The pricing page describes a planned consultant service. Describing it is not an offer for sale: no payment can be made and no booking can be placed through this site at present, and the page says so. If that changes, the service, its provider, its price, and its terms will be published before anything can be bought.
Software licences
The Regula software is open source: code under Apache-2.0 / EUPL-1.2 and detection rules under DRL 1.1, as set out in the repository's NOTICE file. The software is provided "as is", without warranties or conditions of any kind, in accordance with those licences. Your use of the software is governed by the licences, not by this page.
Site content
Site text is written with care and its factual claims are checked against named sources, but it is provided without any warranty of completeness or currency. If you find an error, please report it to support@getregula.com or open an issue in the repository; the site's full history is public there.
Third-party links
Pages link to external sites, including legislation databases, official guidance, and vendors. Those sites have their own terms and policies, and linking to them is not an endorsement.
Privacy
What this site collects, and does not, is described on the privacy and analytics page.
Changes
Changes to these terms are published here with an updated date.
